Our Mission

At Pinnacle Dental Specialists, our mission is to:

Sedation Options for Anxious or Complex Cases

At Pinnacle Dental Specialists, we recognise that dental treatment can be a source of anxiety for some patients, particularly when complex or surgical procedures are involved. To help ensure a calm and comfortable experience, we offer bothoral sedationandintravenous (IV) sedation, tailored to your individual needs.

Oral Sedation

For patients seeking a mild form of relaxation, oral sedation involves taking a prescribed dose of oral sedative approximately one hour before your appointment. This allows you to enter a calm and relaxed state while remaining conscious throughout the procedure. A responsible adult is required to accompany you and drive you home following your treatment.

Intravenous (IV) Sedation

For patients requiring a deeper level of sedation, we offer intravenous sedation administered by a highly experienced, board registered Dental Sedationist onsite at our practice. Sedative medication is delivered through a vein, allowing you to enter a sleep-like, deeply relaxed state with minimal awareness of the procedure. The dental sedationist remains present throughout to monitor your safety and comfort. Fasting is required prior to the appointment, and you will need a responsible adult to escort you home afterwards.

Whether you are an anxious patient or undergoing more advanced dental care, our team is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and stress-free environment tailored to your comfort.
